grandmas in waiting

Angie's mom came in on Thursday night, my mom land's in about an hour. Tonight marks the end of the 37th week and for those of you who haven't been through this, that means the baby will be full term (i.e. no efforts to stop labor would be made).

I've been extremely busy, but what's new. Somehow I've managed to pick up a new toy that will become a new hobby when I have some cycles. Angie's mom so generously lugged out a new Canon EOS 30D digital SLR for me. It's for baby pictures, I say, but the truth is, I've always loved taking pictures and can't wait to get to know the camera.

In the intervening couple of weeks since the last post, SVP has continued to be extremely busy and we've survived our first disagreements and are really clicking. My day job is in full-on wind-down. Angie's gotten bigger and more beautiful. We've hankered down in our little two bedroom with an eye on the property market here, though the trigger probably won't get pulled until after a deal or two closes.

All for now. It's off to the airport to pick up Mom!
